BATON ROUGE, La. – Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser today announced the official launch of the #OnlyLouisiana Ambassador Program – or more affectionately, the Bayou Krewe. This program encourages Louisianans and Louisiana fans to snap their views of Louisiana and spread the #OnlyLouisiana joie de vivre to their followers and friends online and around the world!
“As I have traveled this state, I have witnessed the passion of our people in every town and city in our state. Every corner of Louisiana offers exciting history, culture, food, music, and attractions and I’m asking our people to help us showcase it to the world,” said Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser.

Participants who sign up for the #OnlyLouisiana Ambassador Program will receive a letter from the Lieutenant Governor and a Bayou Krewe sticker they can place somewhere prominent for all to see their love for #OnlyLouisiana. Additionally, they will receive an e-newsletter highlighting the best posts each month and announcing challenges, available only to ambassadors, to spread their love of Louisiana and win prizes.
