December MSWIT Christmas Party to be held at the Rooftop on Basin St.
MSWIT members...
Our December Christmas Party will be LIVE/IN-PERSON on Tuesday, December 15 at the Rooftop on Basin (rooftop venue at the Basin St. Station, 501 Basin St. Fourth Floor). If you have not yet been to this fabulous venue, there is a huge outdoor balcony overlooking the French Quarter and City Skyline! Following all the CDC guidelines, MSWIT member Stacey Messina has a fabulous party planned for us including Messina's Catering specialties and an open bar on beer, wine and soft drinks!
TIMES & PARKING: The party will be from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm...and there is free parking in the Basin St. Station parking lot. (Try to car pool if possible to allow all members to have access to the limited number of parking spaces.)
ATTIRE: We recommend "festive holiday attire" but, of course, YOU MUST WEAR YOUR MASK as well! Also...you might want to bring your dancing shoes!
This is traditionally the one meeting out of the year where members are allowed to invite their spouse/significant other. At last year's fun party, we started another tradition with wrapping gifts for an adopted family with kids (through our favorite non-profit organization New Orleans Family Justice Center). Wrapping station tables will be set up for anyone who wants to assist in wrapping all the gifts purchased by MSWIT. The more hands we have...the faster it will be!
What's a party without DOOR PRIZES? Ladies...we will gladly accept any type of gift certificates, gift baskets, etc. to use for our Door Prizes for the night. Please let Bobbi know if you plan to bring something to promote your business!
If you are still furloughed and can't attend because of financial reasons, please send a private message to Bobbi. This past July several members had donated to a "Pay it Forward" fund so we have enough to assist four members to attend this event...but it will be on a first to request/first to receive basis....and, of course, this would be strictly confidential.
Because of COVID, we will NOT collect payment at the door...so pre-payment is necessary.

Since we have changed our calendar year to July 1st, all new members will only be charged a $25 membership fee which will last through June 30, 2021. Annual $50 membership renewals begin on July 1, 2021.
