July MSWIT "Breakfast" Meeting and "Mask Contest" at Laser Tag in Metairie

MSWIT Members...

We are so happy to announce that our July 28th MSWIT Meeting will be our first "in person" event since the pandemic.  MSWIT Member Christy Dillard, General Manager of Laser Tag in Metairie (located at 8855 Veterans Memorial Blvd), is so excited about hosting a private meeting for us.

We will have a MASK Contest and a very special prize will be give to the most outstanding mask (voted by the members)!   So start working on your mask now!

Networking will be from 9 am-9:30 am and we plan to start the meeting at 9:30 am.   In addition to some general updates, our agenda will primarily be to talk about the status of our tourism industry and to see who is looking for employment and what jobs are available.  Christy is also inviting our members to actually experience LASER TAG first hand for ourselves.   The venue will not open to the public until 12 Noon.

Because many of our members have been furloughed or, in some cases, officially laid off, there could be some members who may not attend because of financial reasons.  We all need each other at this time...so we don't want cost to be the reason YOU don't attend.   Please send a private and confidential email to bobbimannino@gmail.com and we will determine how many members we can assist...obviously on a first come, first served basis.

On the flip side of this difficult situation, if you are working and are in a financial situation where you or your company are able to "sponsor" a member for this meeting, please indicate that you are buying a second meal as a "sponsor" and this can remain anonymous (if you prefer) between you and Bobbi Mannino who handles our RSVPs.

WE ARE FAMILY....and we look forward to seeing as many "sisters" at this special meeting as possible.   But remember...NO HUGS...we will wear masks until we sit down to eat and we will follow social distancing!   For anyone concerned about having a group meeting "inside", Christy assures us that they sanitize the facility all day long and each night they turn on an Ozone air filter that no germs can survive!
