MSWIT February LUNCH Meeting to take place at the Peppermill Restaurant in Metairie

MSWIT Members...

Our next meeting will take place at lunchtime at Riccobono's PEPPERMILL Restaurant at 3524 Severn Ave in Metairie on Tuesday, February 28.  We have a great lunch and program planned so we hope to see many of you at this event.

Because Mardi Gras 2023 festivities will be behind us, the next big events in March are the St.Patrick's Day and St. Joseph's Day festivities.   Elizabeth Parent, MSWIT member and local Tour Guide who specializes in giving tours in Italian when requested, will be giving us the history behind the Italian (mostly Sicilian) celebrations behind St. Joseph's Day.

COST:     $35/Members + $40/Guests 

Our lunch count guarantee is due by Friday, February 24 so please RSVP as soon as possible.

Tuesday, March 28 -- MSWIT's Annual Bus Field Trip -- Louisiana River Parishes (St. Charles, St. John & St. James Parishes)
This is an all day event boarding Hotard's bus at 8:15 in Kenner, departing at 8:30 and returning home before 5 pm.   MSWIT members Willma Harvey, Denise Burrell and Kiki Mannear with Louisiana River Parishes have a fabulous itinerary planned.  Details and RSVP request to follow soon but now is the time to check your schedule to make sure you are able to attend.   
Cost is only $35 for lunch and we will be limited to one large motorcoach so it will be a sellout for sure!
