Your early RSVP is requested for our next meeting aboard the Steamboat NATCHEZ on Tuesday, August 22.   Because we will be dining in their private room (the Captain's Salon) there will be limited seating available.

Boarding, Networking and Cocktails will begin at 6 pm, and we sail from 7 - 9 pm, departing from the Toulouse St. Wharf just behind JAX Brewery.   

COST:   $40 Members (due to limited space, this meeting is for members only)

The Steamboat Natchez is the 9th steamboat in history to bear this prestigious name.   She was built in Braithewaite,  Louisiana and christened in 1975.   She is the ONLY remaining steamboat plying the Mississippi River completely operated by "steam".   The huge boilers on the bottom deck produce the steam to propell the paddlewheel, the massive steam whistle as well as the steam calliope!   She has been in dry dock for the past few years for maintenance and MSWIT is honored to be among the first to cruise on this grand lady as she returns to serving the New Orleans area!
