Our first Halloween themed msWITCHes event this past Tuesday was a huge success!! Thanks so much to MSWIT Board Member, Leslie Brewer, who worked so hard to make every detail perfect! Additional thanks to our host, Tracy Smith, Executive Director of Destrehan Plantation and the whole team at Destrehan Plantation. Renee Hawkins, Chef and manager of the new Indigo Cafe (located inside the ticket office and gift shop building) who served fabulous food and libations! Kudos to our two awesome tour guides, Alan Abadie and Kelly Sloss who shared their vast knowledge of many of the spirits that still call Destrehan their home!…

The MSWIT Board decided at the beginning of this year that we should not have an official November meeting because the 4th Tuesday falls two days before Thanksgiving and because our December Christmas Party Luncheon on December 9th takes place 14 days later! However, we have a long list of things to do in November and will have a chance to see other MSWIT members!
