Member Spotlight – Maggie Kelly

Maggie Kelly is a seasoned hospitality sales leader with over fifteen years of experience driving revenue, cultivating client relationships, and elevating market presence for multiple properties across the New Orleans and Baton Rouge markets. As the Area Sales Manager for the J Collection, a unique collection of nine French Quarter properties which includes hotels like the Dauphine Orleans and Hotel Mazarin, Maggie is based and focuses most of her efforts on The Jung Hotel, a four‑star luxury landmark where she leads corporate group and event production for the 207‑room hotel, which also boasts 25,000 square feet of meeting space.

Having started as a Front Desk Agent who worked her way up, Maggie’s career reflects a consistent trajectory of leadership across both Operations and Sales roles. Over the last decade, she’s served as Director of Sales & Marketing for multiple properties across the New Orleans industry, as well as opening multiple properties during her time in other roles. 

Across these positions, Maggie has built a deep network of hospitality leaders, meeting planners, and community partners. Her expertise spans revenue management, forecasting, pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and team development. Recognized early in her career with a nomination for Hilton’s CEO Light & Warmth Award, she continues to be recognized for her professionalism and efforts, having won several leadership roles during her tenure.

In her free time, Maggie enjoys a plethora of hobbies. An avid traveler, Maggie is a certified scuba diver and has enjoyed several excursions outside of the country to explore her passions. She’s an enthusiastic hiker who’s ventured from the Smoky Mountains to the Flat Irons, is a devoted Swiftie, avid reader, animal lover, and Harry Potter fan. The biggest trip on her bucket list is seeing Machu Picchu in the near future. In the meantime, she enjoys planning weekend trips and spending time with her family.
