Christine Miller
Owner, Two Chicks Walking Tours

Christine’s career started in 1992 when she accepted a tourism coordinator position with the French Market Corporation. While there, she was introduced to the wide world of festival production through the Creole Tomato Festival, their weekly jazz concert series and naturally the French Quarter Festival. Participation in national and international tradeshows allowed her to both deepen and expand relationships that have remained a part of her life to this day. Following this exciting position, she worked at the Crescent City Brewhouse orchestrating numerous events from small occasions to venue buyouts while serving on committees within the hospitality industry.

The Louisiana Travel Promotion Association was the next step on her professional journey working alongside statewide industry leaders representing the New Orleans region. The WWII Museum, known in 2001 as the D-Day Museum, selected Christine as the Director of Group Sales and Facility Rentals, responsible for coordinating group visits and event packages. All of these roles prepared her for being a tour guide and small business owner invested in highlighting the best the city and state have to offer.

Two Chicks Walking Tours, formed in 2014, has received numerous awards including the Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Award multiple times. This award is reserved for the top 10% of tour companies worldwide. Two Chicks has also been highlighted in Southern Living, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, American Express among other notable publications. Christine has been featured on multiple podcasts and is a contributor for Atlas Obscura.

When not working she enjoys traveling with friends and listening to live local music. She can also be found adorned in pink and orange on the streets of New Orleans with the Pussyfooters, the Majorettes sent from the Mothership to help the party people get their groove on.

Meeting and getting to know the members of MSWIT is a joy and learning about all the businesses is fascinating. Raising funds and connecting through philanthropic efforts is meaningful and deeply satisfying. Christine looks forward to getting to know more members, her curiosity seems insatiable.
