Martha Martinez
Senior Sales Manager
Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center and Champions Square
Martha Martinez is a native New Orleanian…her parents are from Guatemala and Honduras but met in New Orleans while they were going to school and working here. She has been in the tourism and hospitality industry since becoming a student at UNO (now LSU-New Orleans).
Over the years, Martha is proud to say that she has worked at almost all the national hotel brands including IHG and Hilton in Sales.
She has represented New Orleans handling the Latin and Asia Pacific Rim markets at New Orleans & Company as the International Tourism Sales Manager. It was here that she realized she wanted to know more about our
wonderful city’s history to share with all her clients. In her spare time, she studied hard and became a certified tour guide and keeps her tour guide permit current just in case she is asked to do a tour, step on guide or walking tour of the French Quarter. Being bilingual is helpful!
Martha is now the Senior Sales Manager for private events at the iconic Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center and Champions Square venues.
In her spare time Martha loves festivals such as Jazz Fest which she never misses! She also enjoys everything about Mardi Gras!
The absolute “loves” of her life are her daughter, Jessica, her family, and her two fur babies, Louie Armstrong Martinez and NOLA!
Martha has been a MSWIT member for the past 10 years and didn’t waste any time getting involved on the BOARD. She assumed the role as MSWIT President from 2020-2023 when our club not only survived but thrived during those pandemic years!
