August 19th MSWIT Dinner at Tujague’s + Parade of Prizes Fundraiser to Benefit Flood Victims in Texas

Our MSWIT “DINNER” meeting for Tuesday, August 19 will be at Tujague’s Restaurant at 429 Decatur.    We will be in the fabulous Iris Room on the 2nd floor which can accommodate 64 seats max.  We know it will be a sell-out so we encourage you to RSVP early!

MSWIT member Shelly Dupuy and the culinary team at Tujague’s have a wonderful dinner planned for us!

STARTER

Mixed greens, pickled beet medley, pickled radish, herb goat cheese, pickled onions,
candied pecans, lemon zest, smoked salt

A.  Gulf Fish Pecan
Fried Brussel sprouts in sugar cane vinaigrette, orange glazed fingerling potatoes,

Our Speaker will be MSWIT member Laine Garner with Louisiana Travel Association.   Laine will address “Travel Trends at the Close of 2025: What’s Now and What’s Next for 2026″

HELP Flood Victims in TEXAS!

In lieu of our regular 50/50 and door prizes, we will have a special Parade of Prizes tables to benefit identified needy victims of the Central Texas Floods!  If you are able, we ask you to bring an item for the special fundraiser such as tour or attraction tickets, vouchers or gift cards that promote your business or an item from your gift closet that you won’t miss if you donate it!    Let us know what you are bringing so we have enough tables set to display all items.  
 
Each member who brings items valued at $20 or more will be given ONE FREE RAFFLE TICKET as a special “Thank You”.   
 
President Christy Dillard with Game On Social Hub (2421 Vets Hwy) has offered to anyone who wants to donate a prize but can’t attend this special meeting that they are welcome to drop off their prize by August 18th between 10 am-10pm Monday- Friday.   Please be sure to attach the donor name on the package.

Networking begins at 5:30 pm with a CASH BAR; program starts promptly at 6:00 pm and we plan to be finished no later than 7:45 pm. Come early if you are bringing items for the Parade of Prizes!!!

DINNER COST:   $45/Members ONLY (will open up to guests one week prior if any seats are available.)
