January 2020 MSWIT Meeting to take place at NOLE` Restaurant on January 28

Happy New Year to all MSWIT members!   Our organization has grown with such a great diverse group of women from all segments of the tourist industry and we are so ready to take on the new "roaring 20's"!

Our first meeting for 2020 will take place on Tuesday, January 28 at NOLE` Restaurant, 2001 St. Charles Avenue.  MSWIT member Racheal Apken with Mirepoix Event Catering/ NOLE` Restaurant has a great meal planned for us!

In addition to our traditional "Installation of Officers" and since January is "Mentoring Month", we have invited the top female grad students from the University of New Orleans Lester E Kabacoff School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Administration to join us for the evening. 

We ask all members to please bring 20 business cards and, if possible, 20 brochures or flyers about the business you represent.  If you happen to have any type of promotional coupon offer that you want to extend, that would be awesome as well.   We will quickly assemble the goodie bags that evening so each student will take home with them a reminder of the wide variety of businesses that make up the tourism industry.

Networking begins at 5:30 pm, Dinner promptly at 6 pm

Membership Dues for 2020

Thank you to all who have submitted payment for membership renewal for the new year.  Invoices were sent out in early January but we have only received payment from 35% of our total membership.   They were sent from our accounting program called Zipbooks.   If you did not receive an invoice, please take a moment to check your spam and search for Zipbooks as this will allow you to pay directly through that accounting system.   The invoices would have been sent on January 1, 2 or 3.   If you absolutely did not receive that email, we will be happy to send you a PDF of the invoice directly to you by email.   There is also an online option to pay below.
