Dawn Busters Kiwanis is seeking Volunteers to help with these event…
April 12 – BUNNY BASH
This event is part of our family series featuring Easter Egg hunts, games for the children, space walks and unlimited carousel rides. For the adults are food booths, Sponsors handing out their info and cany for the children and 50 vendors selling their wares. We start at 10:00 AM and stop at 3:00 PM We need help with the hunts and games area.
April 19 – Crescent City Classic
Dawn Busters is responsible for pouring beer from eight beer trucks in the middle of the field thus needing a minimum of 64 volunteers. We sign in at 7:00 AM and stay to 1:00 PM. Time flies as there will be 18,000 runners plus 2,000 guests. We have been known to empty the kegs in the trucks!
April 24-27 — Jazz Fest + May 1-4th
This event is a favorite! We offer 4 hour shifts and in return you get a t-shit and volunteer ticket for access to the music fest. I can get more info on specifics for this event which is structured so it works. We are next to the Gentilly stage on the track and we are known for having fast lines and the coldest beer at the fest.
